Add your personal touch to gift wrapping this holiday season.
The gift to be wrapped in this example is a stamp set. The translucency of the wax wrapping paper is beautiful against the light wood grain and gives the receiver a sneak peek of the gift.
Step 1
Place the gift in the middle of the wrapping paper. |
 |
Step 2
Align the bottom edge of the wrapping paper to the top edge of stamp set box.
Crease the wrapping paper along all edges of the box.
|
 |
Step 3
Fold the excess (top edge) of the wrapping paper in as shown. |

Step 4
Trim off sides of the wrapping paper so it is the same width of the box. (repeat for Style 2, Step 4)
(tip: I just teared the paper with a straight edge pressed against the paper.)
Add a matching Collage Stamp.
You're done. Simple, huh?

Step 4
Take a few sheets of our Letter Pad, center them, and scrunch them together in the middle to create a paper bow.
(tip: Used here are 2 colors, 5 sheets total. Use more sheets for a more poofy look.)
Separate the layers on each side, scrunch some more and style as you wish. |

Step 5
Lay washi tape around the wrapped box.
Center your bow on top.
Lay another layer of washi tape to secure the bow and for an extra touch of color.

Step 4
Fold the ends in as you would wrapping a regular box. |

Step 5
Make your own "ribbon."
- Take 3-5 strands of yarns of the same length.
- Tie a knot on one end.
- Braid the yarns together.
- Tie a knot on the other end.
(hint: 4 strands used here, one of which is a lighter green shade. Try using 3-4 shades of a color and experiment with thicker yarns.) |
